We arrived safely into El Paso airport around 4pm and had dinner at Barrigas. It was a good authentic Mexican dinner, and then we were off to the Ranch. The trip was uneventful. After a 45 minute drive, we arrived at the Ranch to the sight of 45 little kids running out to meet us with huge smiles.
We had a brief orientation with Dean and a tour around the ranch. Its about 9:30pm our time (11:30 pm your time), and we'll have curfew around midnight. Tomorrow we will start at 7:30am with breakfast, worship, group devos, and then personal devos.
It looks like the internet connection here is pretty good, so I will be able to keep the blog updated throughout the week.
Brittany Kauflin is running the kitchen for us this week. She started out strong tonight by making the group Honey Nut Cheerio treats.
